This is about a lens I purchased on July 22, 2012 (Sunday).
\nAfter trying out its successor, the EF8-15mm F4L Fisheye USM

the AF DX Fisheye-Nikkor 10.5mm f\/2.8G ED is saying goodbye

It was an extremely interesting and wonderful lens at a reasonable price.
\nFarewell!
\nSince it’s a DX lens, the autofocus is slower compared to FX, making a “whirr whirr” sound,
\nbut autofocus really is great\u2014there’s a huge difference between having it and not having it.
\nThe EF8-15mm F4L Fisheye USM, on the other hand, is manual focus,
\nso it’s a shame I can’t just raise my hand and snap, or crouch down and snap.
