I’ve never worked on a Hayabusa before.
\nPlus, this bike barely has any bolts holding the fairing on from the outside\u2026
\nIn other words, it relies mostly on clips and snap-fit fasteners, so you have to be careful.
\nUsually the owner takes them off for me, so this time I had a rough go of it\u2026
\nIt took two hours just to get this far \u2606 Argh!

\nThat’s why I keep a water pump pliers that I’ve modified \u2606
\nGrab it with this and it comes right off with a “click” \u2606
\nIf I’d used a hook wrench, I think it would’ve rounded off. It was that tight.

By the way, the operation was the worst \u2606 When I took off the sidestand and moved it,
\nman, it was heavy\u2026 over-tightened big time. The oil was so-so.
