What to do about this… I’ll peel off the seal and take a look.
\nWhen you remove it, the seal bends a bit, so be careful.

The grease is hardened and there’s not much around the ball
\nOnce it warms up, some of it will work its way in, but \u2605 the oil from your nose will cover it

It builds up
 
\n
 
Moving to the rear

This chain adjuster costs 450 yen each, so if it’s dirty, we replace it right away \u2605
\nThe center nut is expensive, so we polish it and reuse it

The corrosion is severe, so we’ll replace the hose.
