So here’s the Saitama Racing Z1000MK2.
\nThey brought it in yesterday but now they’re asking for it back by the weekend\u2014totally unreasonable.
\nAnd since Friday is rainy, they have to drop it off today, Thursday…

If we don’t go direct-to-battery, it’s under 10,000 candlepower.
\nThe light rim got bent from the crash, so the left-right adjustment won’t work.

Going direct-to-battery, we can easily hit 20,000 without even starting the engine\u201425,000 with it running.
\nBut that’s not the only problem, so we’re spending the whole morning on it.

Well, we got it done without issues.
\nOld bikes are tough, especially Z models.
\n“Hold on a second”\u2014what are they checking? The manufacturing date on the horn?
\n“Oh, the font…”
\nIt’s an import with an unknown model designation, so the maker won’t provide font documentation.
\nBut hand-stamped bikes have been flooding the market forever.
\nLately the inspection stations are cracking down on it too.
\nOf course, once they catch it,
\nyou can never pass a renewal inspection again\u2014straight to racer status.
\nThis isn’t soba noodles\u2014hand-stamping is not cool, yo\u2605
