Well, time has been passing so quickly lately that I’m starting to wonder if something’s wrong with my head
\nand nothing’s getting done
\n“Why?” When I work backward through the timeline, it’s definitely gone by!

Here’s the GS1200SS, whose used market value is skyrocketing.

Come to think of it, I don’t think I’ve ever installed one before.
\nIt’s designed to mount in the stock location, but that’s a pretty tight spot.
\nNo matter what I try, this is the safest place without rewiring.
\nI thought about moving it further back, but then I realized there’s no “16-pin waterproof connector”!
\nThere’s talk it might be a Yamaha OEM part, but\u2026
\nI’m still checking.

I went with carbon for a quick fix\u2014aluminum would work too, but I didn’t feel like going through the hassle of anodizing
\nso I used a carbon sheet I happened to have on hand \u2605
\nUltra-low-profile cap bolts are really handy to have around.

And of course, the famous “3M Dual Lock Fastener”\u2014I secured it with a quick snap.
