We had to get the synchronization right, so we put in a vacuum pipe and used epoxy.
\nMaking it from scratch was a pain, so we went with a modified Kitaco.
\nI thought about whether vulcanized adhesive might work, but we didn’t have time for that, so we scrapped the idea.
\nFrom the exhaust sound it was going brrrrr~ \u2605 Sure enough, the synchronization was way off.

When we pushed on it, we heard a “clunk clunk” sound, so
\nThe drive sprocket must be loose \u2605
\nRK uses external bolt locks, but it’s best to add a lock washer.

That’s how much tighter it got \u2605
\nThe GSF had 115 N written on it, so we verified it with a torque wrench.
\nThe noise went away.
\nThen we went for a test ride out to Togashi Engineering
\nAnd the shift feel was really bad,
\nSo I was thinking maybe we should swap out the return spring and ratchet~
\nPondering this in the cold north wind, we headed back to the shop

It was hitting and occasionally catching, so something was definitely off.

We moved the top and bottom each 5 mm to create clearance
\nAnd the thought crossed my mind, “Yeah, 75 is the way to go~”
