Seven, eight, nine days off\u2014that’s a long holiday! Right after New Year’s, we get a break \u2605
\nI totally got the schedule wrong\u2026
\nSo normal operations don’t start until the 11th\u2026
\nWell, never mind.

Anyway, as the year wound down, I rushed through and got all sorts of little things done.
\nWhat a sense of accomplishment!
\n“Finally the year has changed\u2014phew, time to kick back \u2605”
\nStill got plenty of time left in ’24!
\nWhat a relief!
\nBut if I keep doing this, nothing ever really changes, does it?
\nJust drifting through each day without purpose,
\nand before you know it, I’m getting old\u2014it’s plain to see. I scribbled down all sorts of resolutions in my planner at year’s end,
\n“This year’s various goals”
\nand I’d like to make progress on them one step at a time \u2605
\nSo I’m giving myself a little pep talk here.
