As a celebration gift for the move,

we received from MJ! A brand we can trust completely.
\nWe had received a Panasonic “Otax” phone,
\nbut we hadn’t used it because setting it up and transferring the phone book memory was a hassle.
\nStarting around yesterday, the phone started acting up.
\nThe call sound was distant, there was static, and our voice echoed back\u2014it was terrible.
\nThen it got worse and faxes stopped coming through.
\nNext, we couldn’t call fiber optic phones (though we could reach analog and cell phones).
\nAfter fiddling with it, finally all calls became impossible.
\nWe just heard the automated message: “The number you have dialed…”
\nWe called NTT from a cell phone but got “We’re busy, please wait.”
\nWe tried everything, but we ran out of ideas.
\nWe figured that phone unit (Otax, purchased in 2002) must be broken.
\nSo we connected a new one,
\nand boom! It worked right away!
\nBy the way, we spent four hours on this today.
\nRather than get frustrated, we’re just glad it’s fixed now \u2605
