I haven’t changed the oil since I bought this car,
\nso it’s starting to smell pretty bad\u2014time to change it!

Whoever tightened the drain plug was crazy!

Wow\u2026 that’s rough. \u2605 I didn’t have time to buy a filter, so I’ll do it next time. \u2605
\nFor now the filter stays as is, so let’s plan to change it again after 1,000 kilometers!

This time it’s at 62,500 kilometers! Next time is 63,500 kilometers\u2014don’t forget!

Might as well check the spark plug too! It’s a “B” type. \u2605
\nI felt like buying iridium plugs, but since I’m running a budget racing setup, I’ll stick with standard.

It’s in bad shape\u2014the center electrode edge is pretty rounded off.
\nThe air filter was clean, so that’s OK.
\nRadiator cap is OK.
\nCoolant level is OK.
\nTire pressure is OK.
\nThe compressor wasn’t within reach, so I used a bicycle pump instead.

It’s almost always loaded with motorcycles anyway,
\nbut when I measured fuel economy the other day, it was about 9.4 km\/L.
\nIt would probably do better unloaded, but that doesn’t happen much, so time to lighten the load. \u2605
\nDo I really need two spare tires? I’ll remove one.
\nI’ve got a tire repair kit on board, so when the time comes I’ll remove the other one too and go on a diet!
