Well, well,
\nI’m going to drain the oil and change the hose routing, so I’ll remove it once

Ideally I’d route #1 and #4 on the outside,
\nbut replacing all the fittings and hoses would be expensive, so I’ll just replace the problem spots\u2014
\nand reuse the rest!
\nPutting heat shrink tubing on the hose keeps it from getting all scraped up, which is nice \u2605
\nWhen pressure builds up in the hose, it tries to straighten out, so areas like around the muffler need extra attention.
\nHonestly, I still wonder how long these aluminum fittings actually last?
\nThat’s the question I keep asking myself.
\nYears ago, my GSF1200 had a hole in the stock hose (super tiny),
\nand oil poured out everywhere\u2014I thought I was going to crash again at the Shin-Yamashita on the Bay Bridge!!
\nLooking at this fitting that’s worn down, you can see the hose near the connection point is fluttering a bit,
\nwhich might be the issue. In the past, when I used overly soft high-pressure hose, it broke near the connection twice,
\nand it got dangerous. Since then, I’ve only used Kachipan R’s hose.
