Well, it’s beautiful weather today.

\nWe’re heading into bike season now\u2026
\nMaintenance, repairs, inspections\u2026 take your time, no rush\u2014I’m just hoping they don’t all come in at once.

It’s well sealed, but it won’t turn by hand.

I’ll reduce it until it spins smoothly. If you wash your bike a lot\u2014like with an off-road bike\u2014you might want to skip this.

This one’s still mild, but the really stubborn ones can develop step wear.
\nIn the end, the seal wears down, but so does the collar.

Applying grease to the lip area makes it spin really nicely.
