Errands sure do pile up in the same places, don’t they?
\nSo, about that broken exhaust pipe bolt we mentioned.
\nThere was just a tiny bit of the head sticking out between #2 and #3,
\nso we asked if a master could just put a nut on it and weld it\u2014easy peasy\u2014
\nor something like that.
\nUnfortunately, welding didn’t work… no good.
\nSo we had to choose: remove the head, or leave it as is?
\nSince drilling straight through is scary if you mess up,
\nⅠ Master Yama made a jig called the “Straight-Drilling Kura-kun Super”
\nand got it out for us. Amazing as always! \u2605
\nIt’s cheaper than removing the head and pulling out the bolt,
\nbut the lesson is: if it breaks, it costs a lot.
\nAlways coat your exhaust pipe bolts with something like Neverseze or Wako's thread compound, okay? \u2605
