Something so simple,
\nraising and lowering the window\u2014
\nwhen it won’t come up, that’s a problem.
\nThe other day it went in for inspection, and I heard “whirrrr~”
\n“Clunk!” It won’t come up anymore\u2014just spinning empty.
\nLooking through the gap, something seemed to have come off the track. I don’t understand car structure at all, but I gave it a try.

Since this is basically a shop space where car shops fit in, there’s plenty of room!

I peeled it back and removed the inner vinyl to take a look.
 
\n
 
This piece had come loose and fallen out!
\nIt’s the rail that raises and lowers the window.
\nThe window molding must have been too tight and it popped out.
 
\n
 
I cleaned it up, lubricated all the moving parts, covered it with cutting sheet, and done!
\nNow it raises and lowers just fine\u2014all’s well that ends well.
