Well, I’ve been doing things I shouldn’t have, and quite a bit of time has passed, and I’m feeling pretty discouraged.

By my level of eyeballing it, it seems like it’s totally “not aligned.”
\nI’m feeling a bit down about it.
\nBut even someone as hopeless as me can get help from an instrument\u2014

It lines up perfectly. Woohoo!

Since pulling and reinserting from the root is a pain, I’m planning to make it easier with a mid-joint connector.
