Now for the sequel.
\nFor now, let’s go with the “let’s ride!” approach\u2026
\nI’ve only ever seen the real Yoshimura Tornado 1200 Bonneville units 1 and 2,
\nso this is the first time I’m seeing it take shape from kit parts.
\nThe tank mount looks like it’s been redesigned too?
\nI think it had a claw that caught on the back and rubber stops in front,
\nbut that tank was cut in the middle, pushed together and welded, so I’m not sure how it works now.
\nI’m not really that familiar with it, sorry.
\nThe inside of the tank is green,
\nso of course the carburetor is green too.
\nIf the inside looks bad, we’ll send it straight to Yoshimura, so if that happens this month will be tight.
\nI pulled the plug and cranked it over\u2014it looks okay\u2014so I’ll circulate the oil.
\nI replaced the plug with a new JR8B and started the engine,
\nbut it’s still going “bebepepepepee”
\nand the carburetor is overflowing with a squirt.
