So we’re making just a little bit of progress.
\nI was asked to do bearing maintenance,
\nand the oil seal wasn’t installed.
\nIf I assemble it as is, the movement will be extremely stiff, so I’m going to break it in from the start.
\nSince this isn’t an off-road bike that’s going to be tearing through mud all day, that’s fine.
\nIf you remove it and spin the spacer by hand, you’ll see what I mean\u2014
\n“it’s incredibly stiff.”
\nMaybe the spacer wears down before the rubber does. \u2605
