Well, I wandered around for the first time in a while \u2605
\nThought I’d grab a bite to eat somewhere
\nHeaded to a standing sushi bar
\nThinking, yeah, sushi’s the thing on a hot day like this \u2605
\nThere’s a nice peace of mind being able to see the bike from the shop.
\nWith disc brakes front and rear, I can only lock it to the frame
\nAnd it’d be rough if the wheels got damaged
\nJust as I was thinking about going inside, the sushi shop guy is staring at me from inside\u2026
\n“Huh? Can’t I leave it here? But I’m gonna eat anyway\u2026 ah, whatever~”
\nI go inside
\nThe hall guy says, “That’s a cool bike \u266a”
\nMe: “Ah, thanks thanks \u2605”
\nThe hall guy then says to the sushi chef, “Hey, look at that, look~”
\nSushi chef: “What is that thing?!” “That’s gotta be a race bike!” “That’s incredible!”
\nSo all the customers look outside, right.
\nAnd then they all look back at me.
\nI was so embarrassed
\nBoth the sushi chef and the hall guy are like, “How much is that thing? Like 300,000 yen? Huh? Huh?”
\n“Well, I built it from parts, so I’m not really sure~?” I dodged the question
