\nWe’ll disassemble and clean the rear section.
\nThe linkage area is relatively clean, which is a huge help.
\nRear maintenance is an inspection that doubles as a check of the linkage and swingarm area.
\nIf the condition is serviceable, we’ll reassemble it. We consider anything that comes clean with polishing to be OK.
\nIt’s a visual inspection that leads into the later overhaul.
\nThe grease applied to the original bearings is a pretty high-viscosity type.
\nWe’ll work in some Newtech MP grease here too.
\nOf course, we’ll wash out the old grease first.
\nThe linkage area will have excellent operation too \u2605
\nWhile we’re at it, applying chain oil to the chain slider makes it roll better.
\nThe rear shock is Nitron!
\nToday we’re done with the temporary assembly.
