So we have a Bandit 1200 here.
\nThe other day oil sprayed out everywhere~
\nI wonder if the round cooler and stock hose are just too much for the Bandit 1200~
\nThe muffler was close by and melted the hose . . .
\nReally dangerous stuff. It’s surprising how useful the undercowl can be in situations like this
\nFortunately nothing bad happened, so we’re switching to proper routing.
\nBack in the day, the hose on my own GSF1200 with a stock cooler suddenly developed a hole too
\nI’m amazed it didn’t crash . . .
\nSo then . . .
\nUsually we’d go with standard #8 mesh hose and fittings
\nbut this time we’re building it with flex nylon mesh hose, which is rumored to be softer.
\nIt has black braiding on the outer layer and the hose is really flexible
\nWe found flexible fittings too, so we’re using those \u2606
\nEven after tightening, they spin freely, so routing is super easy \u266a
\nWas making hose ever this easy? It came together in no time!
