I go to Chiba almost every day.
Basically, I try to avoid weekends and holidays as much as possible.

The reasons are “the Aqua Line toll gets expensive” and “there’s a possibility of traffic congestion” <\/strong>\u2014those two points.
But interestingly, “when the weather is bad, it’s wide open” <\/strong>with a probability of 98.25% (according to our data)

When I check Google Maps traffic info, it’s completely clear! I headed to Chiba to clean things up. <\/p>\n\n\n\t\t

On May 16th, Tackey &Tsubasa? transported the first batch of motorcycles for us (*\u00b4\u03c9\uff40*) <\/h2>\n\n\n\n

This time, we transported just five bikes for now. <\/strong>
What’s left is just a Zephyr 550 and a GPZ 550, so we’re in the clear. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

We managed to avoid the rain\u2014just barely made it in time.
I’ll ask them to do it one more time next week (*’\u03c9’*) <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The weather was rainy from morning, but not too heavy, and the forecast said it would clear up before evening.
Checking Google Maps traffic info, everything was wide open!

Since I wanted to clean up the factory in Chiba, I decided to go even though it’s Saturday (*\u00b4\u03c9\uff40*)
It’s really true that when it rains, both surface roads and highways become completely clear. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Seriously wide open! Just bad weather and there are hardly any cars. <\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Today inside the factory, I was just “moving things around,” <\/strong>so there aren’t any impressive photos.
I’m basically repeating very mundane physical moving every day.

The shelves still aren’t done, so we can’t clean up even if we want to.

At least I could see the floor, so I felt a bit relieved.

I want to calculate the materials needed for the shelves and order them from the shop.
Plus, I still haven’t ordered the air line parts yet, <\/strong>so it’s going to take longer than I thought.

The air line setup at our Meguro shop uses a convenient thing called “Air Liner” <\/a><\/span><\/strong>laid out on the ceiling.
But this time,
since all the walls are flat, I’m thinking of doing wall-mounted piping <\/strong>at about waist level.

You really can’t figure out what to do until you actually move things in and see. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

After this move, I really felt the importance of “managing things in boxes.” <\/strong>

For now, next time I need to work on shelf construction and air piping.

At the Sodegaura exit “2 km congestion, 20 minutes” <\/span><\/strong>
“2 km of traffic and it takes 20 minutes to get through” <\/strong>is what the sign said.

I had a faint hope that if I waited a bit, the closure would be lifted,
so I went to “Michi no Eki Umakuta no Sato” <\/a><\/span><\/strong>to kill some time (just took a nap). <\/p>\n\n\n\n

It didn’t look like it was going to clear up, so I decided to head back by surface roads (*\u00b4\u03c9\uff40*) <\/p>\n\n\n\n

It was packed around the usual “Kaizuka area,” so I escaped to Route 16 running parallel. <\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The Keiyo Road looked like it was going to be really slow, so I hurried off and cruised down Route 16.
The Keiyo Road was moving terribly, while Route 16 was much smoother. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

After I got past the congestion, I got on at Anagawa-Nishi <\/strong>and got off at Wangan Line “Ooi”
to head back to the shop. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

I did take a nap, but it was quite a punch of a drive.
The nap was about 30 minutes, so that’s two and a half hours plus about an hour.

When the Aqua Line closes,
“all the traffic flows to surface roads and volume increases,” <\/strong>and then “accidents happen,” <\/strong>leading to massive congestion.

Every time I drive on the highway, I think, “way too many people tailgating at distances where they can’t possibly stop?” <\/strong>
The brakes are going click-click-click, and if something sudden happens, a pile-up is guaranteed at that distance.
There was an old saying…
“Cars can’t stop suddenly.” <\/span><\/strong>Right? (*\u00b4\u03c9\uff40*)

As the world has become more convenient, maybe people have become more impatient too. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
