Now for the damper area \u2605
\nThe engine damper comes right off.
\nIt’s wearing evenly all around, which is good.
\nIf you mark the direction when removing it, whether at the top or front,
\nit’s easier to see which direction is wearing.
\nNext is the alternator damper.
\nThis is a new menu item we added this time\u2014it’s become hard and plastic-like.
\nIt has no elasticity.
\nWhen the center nut loosens, the damper gets banged up and the engine gets noisy again.
\nNobody looks at this spot and it’s a hassle, so we decided to add it to the menu to handle it all at once \u2605
\nOf course, we replace the cam and rocker arm area and check the valve clearance and dampers,
\nso things have become much more stable.
