Argh!
\nUgh, I fell asleep again.
\nThe rain was pouring down, and it made for such a pleasant temperature\u2014
\nI dimmed the lights with the remote to an orange glow
\nand rolled around on the bed.
\nWith the circulator fan spinning away,
\nI wonder if I’m craving something different, or if all my stuff just keeps multiplying.
\nIn a way, I think that’s actually right.
\nIf you have the means, you might as well get what you want; if you don’t, you just have to accept it.
\nBut in the end, don’t we get tired of everything?
\nWith vehicles, you definitely need that feeling of “Oh, this is nice! This is fun!” when you ride them.
\nBut there’s also the reality that you spend more time not riding them than riding them.
\nIt’s cool but dangerous\u2014that’s not good.
\nMaybe as we all get older, we develop the luxury of appreciating things just for the joy of looking at them.
\nSomething tailored to your taste,
\nsomething you never tire of and can keep for a long time,
\nsomething easy to handle\u2014
\nthat’s the ideal, right? Nothing lasts forever, so eventually everything becomes old hat,
\nbut wouldn’t it be nice to have a treasure like that around you?
\nThat’s what I thought watching the fan blades spin round and round.
\nIt doesn’t have to be a bike\u2014a pen, a notebook, a bag, anything really.
\nI slept for two hours, and now I’m in a pickle…
