Yep, yep\u2014heading to the Land Transport Office after lunch.
\nWide open.
\nCompletely empty.
\nThis R1 is in really nice condition.
\nReally.
\nDid they swap out the handlebar and seat?
\nExcellent condition\u2014nicely low, good grip, and plenty of arm room.
\nThe seat foam has hardened and it’s flat.
\nBut it’s built so it won’t go any further forward.
\nYeah, I like it.
\nFound the source of that noise they mentioned!
\nIt definitely doesn’t sound like a cam chain noise.
\nBut it sounds like some kind of rattle.
\nHmm, it comes and goes, so…
\nAnd since we had a title transfer today, I grabbed the paperwork and got ready to move.
\nSo I straddled it and tapped the handlebar lightly with my palm\u2014a habit I actually have.
\nThe reason is to check if the handlebar is loose.
\nThen\u2014
\nThe right mirror area rattled.
\nAha! That’s it? I fired up the engine and held it, and that was it!
\nWhen it seated properly, the noise disappeared; when it came loose, the noise came back.
