It’s indoors, but it’s a neglected bike.
\nYou must be tired, huh\u2026
\nDeco-mainte is such unglamorous work that there’s no dramatic change.
\nBut doing it is better than not doing it.
\nLet’s remove the lever, wash it, apply a thin coat of grease, and improve its operation.
\nIf you oil it regularly, a lubricating spray works fine too.
\nFluid changes, wheel bearing inspection, carburettor synchronization\u2026
\nRemove the throttle sleeve, clean it, and oil it.
\nThat’s pretty much it.
\nThe steering is terribly bad\u2026 it’s rough.
\nI’ll replace it. The upper seal was from a different model, and that was making the operation worse too.
