This Golden Week is incredibly long.

Now, the GSX-R750J that I supposedly fixed the other day.
It was running great on the way out for a tour yesterday, but then?
That strange feeling started happening again, so the owner came back early.

But you know, I just changed the fuel petcock and it was running perfectly…

The idle is rock solid and stable, but?
When you start it, there’s a dip in the power, and if you keep riding it, you get a symptom like running out of gas.
It gets progressively worse, and from a traffic light stop “it needs a lot of slip on the clutch” <\/strong>to start, or
it stalls and dies.

I figured it was more electrical than carburettor, so I swapped in a similar igniter. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

So I didn’t have to tear apart the carburettor.
Before I knew it, the oil-cooled Katana <\/span><\/strong>is 30 years old.
I’m experiencing more and more places breaking down that I’ve never dealt with before.

This time, “crash \u2192 fuel petcock \u2192 igniter” <\/strong>overlapping troubles like this are becoming more likely.
And that half-working state is really annoying.
So as this classic bike develops more and more quirks, please take good care of it. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Uotani full-power kit is nice, but there’s a slight “hit or miss” <\/strong>
factor depending on the lot.
In the past, some people had the unit die at 3000 kilometers, <\/strong>so
it doesn’t have the reliability of the original.

Since it’s an aftermarket performance part, you need to understand that aspect.
