To get a new inspection for the Z1000J, I headed to Shinagawa to handle the paperwork\u2026
\nYou’re missing some documents.
\nSo I went back to check\u2026
\nThey asked me to submit documentation explaining the frame and engine serial numbers\u2026
\nIt’s not even in the manual\u2026
\nSo I called Kawasaki Motors Japan right away\u2605
\nKawasaki’s service is always incredibly thorough and courteous\u2026
\nI’m really grateful for that!
\nThey told me, “The manufacturer doesn’t issue serial number documentation, so just let them know that.”
\n“If there’s an issue, the branch can call the manufacturer to confirm,” they said\u2026
\nBack to the inspection office\u2605
\nA different person said, “Oh, that’s fine\u2026”
\nSeriously?
\nIt’s cold today\u2014feels like March weather!
\nI’m bummed that the whole day got wasted on this nonsense\u2026
