Well, now that disassembly is done, I thought I’d go ahead and assemble up to the cylinder?
\nBut then I thought…
\nOh no\u2014I totally forgot to order the O-rings and all that stuff!
\nI figured it’d have to wait until after New Year’s, but then I called up Tsukasa, who’s got the same GS1000S,
\nand when I asked, he said “Yeah, I’ve got some,” and sent them over.
\nSince I’m out of carbon solvent too, I’ll just make do with some metal cleaner and call it a day.
\nIt’s nice to see things come clean.
\nBut when I look at the condition of the valves and valve seats, I’m getting a bit discouraged…
\nThe head will have to wait until tomorrow.
