In times like this it just glides\u2605<br \/>\nYou feel it right away when you ride it\u2014wow, the bike feels light<br \/>\nThe self-steering engages smoothly and I really recommend it.<br \/>\nBack in the day we used a different chassis grease than we do now.<br \/>\nLike the chassis grease from Mercedes and such (green color)<br \/>\nIt&#8217;s stiff, or you could say it has a lot of viscosity, and that alone makes things heavy.<br \/>\nSince the frame gets hot, we couldn&#8217;t use grease that was too soft.<br \/>\nGrease would ooze out from below the neck, and we&#8217;d think &#8220;this will be bone dry in a year&#8221;<br \/>\nThat kind of thing.<br \/>\nBut the &#8220;Newtech grease&#8221; we use now\u2014I forget the name\u2014it&#8217;s really well balanced.<br \/>\nThe steering is low-viscosity so it&#8217;s smooth and doesn&#8217;t drip\u2605<br \/>\nWell, the lower seal might be better too, I suppose.<br \/>\nIt&#8217;s good for the lever pivot and pedal pivot too.
