It debuted with styling nearly identical to the prototype shown at the Cologne Show. Characterized by star-shaped cast wheels, silver engine and bodywork, and suede-like seat. Some spoke wheel versions also exist. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>1982 GSX1000S (SZ): <\/strong> A limited edition model with displacement reduced to 1015cc for AMA Superbike racing participation. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>1983 GSX1100S (SD): <\/strong> Bodywork changed to two-tone colors: red\/silver or blue\/silver. Wheels changed to six-spoke design, and engine and rear shock springs received black paint. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>1984 GSX1100S (SE): <\/strong> Red\/silver two-tone with increased red coverage.
