Oh no! By the time I realized it, it was too late\u2014
\nI didn’t have my camera in my pocket.
\nSo I’ll just have to describe it in words\u2026
\nSince I had shopping to do, realistically I went via Ebisu and Daikanyama.
\nLunch was Nepalese food at “Salty Mode” in Ebisu.

On the fifth floor of the building\u2014isn’t it more like a shot bar?\u2014
\nNo menu, just curry, they said\u2014and I was like, uh, okay\u2026
\nBut then I got hooked on this indescribable spiced curry \u2605 The sides were spicy too, yo!
\nThough the portion seemed a bit small\u2014
\nSince the portion was a little small, I headed to “Hiiragi,” a taiyaki shop.
\nI’d heard rumors that taiyaki causes huge crowds, so I decided to check it out.
\nBut around 1 p.m. on a weekday, there was nobody there\u2026
 
\n
 
They only had red bean flavor.
\nLet’s dig in\u2014\u2605 Crunch!
\nWhoa! I expected a soft taiyaki, but it’s crispy!
\nThe red bean filling is subtly sweet\u2014a sophisticated taste.

“Tea Espresso HATEA”\u2014tea brewed with an espresso machine.
\nI went in to buy tea leaves but they didn’t have any\u2026 Well, let me try it anyway!
\nSorry! I wasn’t moved by it \u2605

I went to “FOOT STEP” to see if there was anything interesting.
\nEven though I hadn’t been there in two years, they remembered my name and said “Welcome back!” \u2605
\nI need to learn from that\u2026 I’ll be back \u25a0

“Lupicia Bon March\u00e9”
\nA shop that offers tea, sweets, tableware and other items that have no quality issues but are being discarded due to approaching expiration dates or poor appearance\u2014Bon March\u00e9 (French for “bargain”).
\nIt used to be a regular Lupicia, but the store had a completely different look now.
\nAs long as I could buy tea, it was fine, so I asked the staff member: “Did the regular Lupicia that was here before close down?”
\nAnd they replied\u2026
\nIt’s now Lupicia Bon March\u00e9\u2014we’ve rebranded, they said\u2026
\nOh, my bad \u2605

“Bodum Caf\u00e9”
\nA space that carries Bodum products and also has a caf\u00e9.
\nUnfortunately, it seems to have closed\u2026
