The width was a bit too wide, so I ended up machining it down to the limit.

When the master position changes?
The angle of the banjo I want to use changes dramatically.

I ended up changing it from 20 degrees to 45 degrees, so there’s been a bit of a wait until the parts arrive.
I think the best approach is to keep the layout simple so the brake hose doesn’t bear unnecessary stress. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

I want to keep things as simple as possible with minimal parts.
I don’t want to move the master to the right side (outside) just to mount the mirror.

Lately I’ve been thinking: we should use air-free banjo bolts <\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Rear brake master hose layouts are often pretty bad.
You sometimes run into trouble because air physically gets trapped in the structure.

But once you bleed the air out, there’s no problem <\/strong> so
I haven’t often used air-free banjos.
But when you’re doing fluid changes, don’t you want to check areas where air might be a concern?

By using an air-free banjo,
you can easily tell if soft brake feel is from caliper or master wear <\/strong> or from air <\/strong>
I think you should adopt parts that improve diagnostics and serviceability. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
