I get the impression I can only visit when the rest of the world is on holiday. Pacific Furniture Service<\/a><\/strong><\/em><\/a>
Since it’s a rare Tuesday holiday, I went on patrol to see if there’s anything new (*\u00b4\u03c9\uff40*)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Behind here is PSF’s Parts Center, a place that sells lots of small items.
There are tons of American-style accessories and small goods that seem to spark all sorts of ideas\u2014it’s a wonderful shop. <\/a><\/strong>

Whether it’s minor modifications to your home or a trampoline garage,
it’s a place where all kinds of ideas can bloom, so definitely stop by sometime.

I felt the sense of style in their cool shop cards, and went to check out a desk, a china cabinet, and a sofa.
<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The prices aren’t shocking, but they’re not exactly cheap either.
Considering the brand name, repairs, and craftsmanship, I think the pricing is fair.
But if I bought everything I wanted, it would come to about a million yen…
So for now, I just look at the actual items and patrol Mercari <\/strong>\u2014I’m a sad middle-aged person ( \uff1b\u2200\uff1b)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This desk has great texture and proportions\u2014it’s excellent for desk work,
and seems perfect for client meetings and consultations too, don’t you think?
It shows up on Mercari, but at that price I think a new one would be better… <\/a><\/strong>
*Actually, the stuff I use in my own shop is mostly from Mercari and Yahoo Auctions <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The size and simple construction make it easy to clean, and the design and functionality are both excellent.

But even if it’s clean, a sofa is… well, it makes you wonder, doesn’t it?
If possible, new is really the way to go *though I’m not sure if I’ll actually buy it… ( \uff1b\u2200\uff1b)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Right behind here is Pacific Furniture Parts Center<\/span><\/a><\/strong>

\u2014they really have tons of items that make you go “wow.”
For bike garages, trampolines, your home, and more,
there are eye-opening little items for sale <\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ah\u2014so that’s how they did it! Brilliant! <\/span><\/strong>
I couldn’t help but shout inside my head.
What’s brilliant about it is “it’s simple yet designed.” <\/span><\/strong>
It’s easy to copy what you see, but this finish is really well thought out.

If it were on Amazon, it’d probably sell for 1\/10 the price or less\u2014pretty amazing. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

There are also lots of cool storage cases, lighting fixtures, and other items,
and once you stop to look, you won’t move for ten minutes <\/span><\/strong>\u2014it’s that captivating.

Outdoor coffee is the best! It’s crowded inside anyway <\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Tokyo has tons of cafes, but “no matter where you go, they’re crowded.” <\/strong>

The tables are close together too, so “you can’t tell if you’re listening to your neighbor or just resting.” <\/strong>It’s actually exhausting.
There’s a light takeout coffee option near the entrance of BNP, so
on nice, pleasant days, I think drinking it outside is the way to go.

The third-wave coffee had gotten too concentrated and developed a weird flavor… <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Before moving, I went to buy “that olive oil” (but it was sold out) <\/h2>\n\n\n\n

“IL MOST” <\/strong>has already sold out, so I’m waiting for it to be restocked.

Maybe I shouldn’t have written about it on the blog? <\/a><\/strong>That’s what I’m thinking. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Anyway, I picked up two bottles of wine and headed home.
It’s a shop with a somewhat niche selection.

Honestly, even on a first visit, you can’t really tell what’s good or bad, which is actually nice.
And why is there a street-front shop near Nakameguro Station along the Meguro River? <\/p>It’s a mystery.\n\n\n\n

When I introduce things like this, Tokyo really does have lots to see.
But I don’t visit every day\u2014even nearby places, I might only go once a year or once every few months.
In other words, “coming to Tokyo to shop” <\/strong>
and hitting several spots in one visit, leaving satisfied, feels just about right.

The streetscape changes year by year,
and I imagine “independent shops will drastically decrease” <\/span><\/strong>in the future.
These days, the changes over the next 5 or 10 years are interesting <\/strong>\u2014or rather, a bit frightening. <\/strong>
I hope things stay as peaceful as this Golden Week’s weather.
So I’ve been patrolling around my neighborhood, which isn’t too crowded, and learning. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
