Since the sun sets early, I need to head back to Nakameguro soon.

\nIt used to overflow when swollen and was a smelly drainage ditch\u2026
\nDucks are swimming around down there.

This is the caf\u00e9 space on the second floor of HIGASHIYA.
\nIt’s my first time going up to the second floor. They offer lunch by reservation, so I’d like to stop by sometime.
\nHigh ceilings and excellent air conditioning\u2014truly wonderful.
\nThe temperature inside is just right with a nice breeze flowing through, nothing too cold or hot, and the cherry tree visible from the window looks
\neven more beautiful.

I ordered five of today’s fresh Japanese sweets.
\nIn modern times when people don’t often eat Japanese sweets, this feels very fresh.
\nWhat’s wonderful is that they’re small, so you can taste many varieties.
\nAnd these aren’t overly sweet, which is perfect!
\nI really like them.
