I really love old bikes and own a GSX-S1000, but around 1979 is still pretty young, isn’t it?
\nCB750K0… I’ve heard the name, but I don’t know the details.
\nJust knowing that the cases are sand-cast isn’t enough to talk about it, so I should ask the owner about what I don’t know or understand.
\nThis bike was fully restored a few years ago, with the engine, frame, wiring, and bodywork all
\nrestored.
\nThe condition is absolutely top-notch, and since it needed inspection, of course I took it out for a ride
\n“I wonder if this is what a nearly new bike feels like~”
\nFront 19, rear 18, and with very narrow rim widths, the handling is wonderfully nimble\u266a
\nIt’s fun. Tire sizes like 19-18 or 18-18 have something that appeals to your senses, and
\nyou can enjoy it without going fast\u2014the vibration, the sound, the smell…
\nJust looking at it is nice too\u2605
\nOld bikes take a tremendous amount of time and money to get running properly, but the emotion when it’s finally done is indescribable
\nreally.
\nIt was fun to ride a well-maintained bike older than a Z or GS for the first time in a while.
\nThe engine is quiet, the idle is rock-solid stable, the controls are light and smooth, and the handling is excellent\u2605
