\nWith 1200cc, it doesn’t matter \u2605
\nThat said, it’s not like that either\u2014with just a muffler on stock, there shouldn’t be any particular issues. (Though there are a few.)
\nExhaust pipe 42.7\u03a6, collector outlet 54\u03a6
\nUsing this with a stock carburetor (BOX type), ST-2 & 1mm port work
\nThe throttle response wasn’t great, there was a flat spot in the midrange, and it just lacked punch\u2014
\nIt was frustrating. I tried changing jets, adjusting needles, and so on~
\nSince it’s vacuum-operated, I changed springs, adjusted spring preload~
\nI thought vacuum operation had hit its limit\u2026
\nFor various reasons, I had a chance to swap the MJ Yoshimura, and I went ahead and swapped it without telling anyone.
\nWhen the boss saw the change, he said “That looks terrible! Put it back right now! You idiot!” and jumped on MJ about it.
\nActually, I’d secretly set up the carburetor for Yoshimura’s mechanical bending beforehand.
\nThe boss said: “What?! I’m gonna take it for a quick ride!” and headed out.
\nA few minutes later, he came back and said: “Hmm~ not bad. Can you do something about the silencer?”
\nSo today at the Tomei and FSW\u2026
\nAll that\u2026
\nI was so slow\u2026
\nOn the boss’s bike\u2026
\nI couldn’t catch up on the straights \u2605
\nI thought the BOX setup had hit its limit, but it turns out that wasn’t the case.
\nThe frustration from not being able to race in the finals at the recent MC has cleared away like the sky after rain.
\nIt’s so much fun that I want to fine-tune it a bit more \u2605
\nThe new Brembo disc bedded in nicely, and today was all smiles.
\nIt was cold, probably because of the weather, so if there’s an afternoon slot, I’d like to go again in November.
