handlebar replacement.
\nIt’s one of those parts that lets you change your riding position.
\nI think a lot of bikes have handlebars that are too far away or too high. (Though it depends on your build, I guess.)
\nIf you’re over 180 cm tall with pretty long limbs, you’re good, but I’d say most people aren’t in that boat.
\nI think what feels best is something fairly low with good grip and enough room at the elbows.
\nIf your elbows are cramped, you can’t move your body around, and you end up using only a small part of that nice wide seat.
\nSince you can’t really tell how a handlebar feels until it’s installed, I think trying a bunch of different ones is the way to go.
\nWhen you change the handlebar, it affects the throttle and clutch too, so you absolutely have to turn the handlebar all the way left and right
\nto check for play and make sure nothing hits the tank.
\nThis time, since the cable was hitting, I rerouted it (top exit) and adjusted that crazy high-throttle
\nthrottle sleeve to be a bit low-throttle (by reducing the winding diameter) to make it variable.
\nLight controls are comfortable, I think.
\nAnd these kit cables are ridiculously long, so I shortened the throttle inner cable.
