I want to fit a K-model swingarm to a GSX-R1100 M\/N \u266a
\nIt seems like everyone secretly dreams of doing this\u2026
\nWe finally managed to install one of the two that have been lying around in our shop.
\nNow let’s measure both of them.
\nBasically it’s bolt-on, but it’s better to swap the linkage at the same time.
\nThe issue is we need to shorten the chain by about six links.
\nThe torque rod is too long.
\nThe rear hose is too long as well.
\nThat’s really the only problem.
\nIt ends up nice and compact.
\nIdeally we’d need to adjust the ride height to correct the stance, but today we’re just doing a temporary fit.
\nI really wanted to work on a GSF1200 cam for a Bandit 1200, but I couldn’t make time for it\u2026
