\nWell, I’ve got most of my work done, so I figured I’d pay my summer respects to the big shots at “Bright Logic,” Takenaka and Watari.

\nHeaded home to change, grabbed a gift or two, and now I’m heading to Atsugi with sweets made by the pastry chef who’s currently ranked #1 on the Decoboco ranking \u2605
\nOff we go \u2605 to Atsugi\u2026
\nGot the car out and cranked the AC\u2014nice and cool inside. Can’t do that on a bike \u2605
\nMade it through the traffic just fine \u2605 said a quick hello, chatted a bit, then got out of the way since they were working.

\nActually, the real reason I asked for the car was because I wanted to pick up some blinds and curtains on the way back.
\nHeaded to IKEA Minato-Mirai and met up again 20 minutes later, splitting up inside\u2026
\nI always carry a notebook with my shopping list, so I zoomed around looking for stuff\u2026 but no luck!
\nSold out. So I just grabbed something else instead.
\nMan, having a car sure makes you want to haul everything\u2014this thing’s 180 centimeters long!
\nThe boss was waiting at the store, but had some business at Uniqlo.
\nIt’s on the way back on Meguro Street, so we stopped by.
\nCouldn’t find anything no matter how hard I looked, so I asked the female clerk, “Excuse me, where would these underwear\u2014pants, I mean\u2014in this fabric be?”
\n# Right over here! This is it! #
\nThat’s a T-shirt, right? Pants. P-a-n-t-s. Underwear.
\n# Oh, o-v-e-r h-e-r-e #
\nBut that’s a T-shirt! We just released pants in this fabric, so let me check for you.
\n# Okay, be right back # \u2026so I wait. Then Shoppe calls out, “Hey, hey, check this out!”
\nWhat is it? That’s cool \u2605 For real \u2605
\nShows me a “Hajime no Ippo” T-shirt from a magazine collaboration.
\n“That’s total anime nerd. It’d be better if it was Kamogawa Gym instead,” he says with a sharp critique.
\nThe female clerk comes looking for me, who’d disappeared.
\n# A small store like ours doesn’t stock it, and since it came out in April, we’re out of stock. #
\nI thought, “But it just came out,” but there was no point arguing, so I bought it online at Uniqlo instead.
\nGot back to the shop, checked out a Silver Wing that was leaking oil, and called it a day.
\nWanted to upload photos but forgot the cable\u2014bummer ~
\nReally glad to have had the car today.
