Hayabusa.
\nI’ve hardly ever touched a fairing-equipped bike like this.
\nThe pump died and the engine won’t start. Apparently the later model has the pump built into the tank.
\nWe’re swapping in a later-model pump and injection body.
\nI thought it would be quick, but the wiring is different.
\nBoth the tank and injection body
\nHmm, no manual either.
\nSince I couldn’t figure it out, I checked with the GSX-R1400, but the colors are different.
\nI found a free download from overseas\u2014all right!
\nLooking at the wiring diagram, the pump is external… wait, what?
\nDoesn’t look like there are many newer ones out there.
\nI removed the pump from the tank and checked the wiring.
\nIt wasn’t anything major.
\nWhile I’m at it, I’ll sync the FI too\u2014I don’t do this very often.
\nThe idle is now rock solid!
