When you use it on the track and leave it as is, the dust gets baked on by the intense heat and won&#8217;t come off at all.<br \/>\nSo we cleaned it carefully without scratching it.<br \/>\nThe piston fit wasn&#8217;t too tight, so this time we just cleaned, polished, and reassembled it.<br \/>\nSince it&#8217;s not for racing, it has dust seals.<br \/>\nThe piston is iron, which adds weight to the caliper itself, and we can&#8217;t choose the pad compound either.<br \/>\nOnce we got the center perfectly aligned and reassembled it, the wheel spun smooth as silk.<br \/>\nAll good, all good.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;The wheel was dragging and not rolling smoothly, so we decided to crack open the caliper!
