A day off with clear skies\u2014couldn’t be better.
\nToday I’m heading out to Roppongi to catch the movie “His Dark Materials: The Golden Compass.”
\nWhat, watching that kind of movie? Well, a fantasy enthusiast has to see all sorts of things.
\nOn the way, I stop by my favorite udon place, Tsurutontan, for lunch.
\nCream mentaiko udon.
\nI thought it would be cold, but it was hot\u2014and delicious!
\nAfter the movie, I head to Tokyo Midtown and make my way to the front of the Yoroizuka shop.
\nEven though it’s not yet 6 p.m., there’s a sign saying entry starts at 7 p.m.\u2026
\nI wander around inside for about five minutes, but there’s nothing fun to see, so I leave\u2026
\nI found a new okonomiyaki place in Ebisu.
\nIt was terribly bad\u2014I can’t even mention the name. Worst\u2026
\nMy number one is this place in Sangenjaya http:\/\/r.tabelog.com\/tokyo\/rstdtl\/13009461\/
\nTell me if you find anywhere that beats it \u2605
\nIt was a pretty fun day overall.
