For now, I’m taking the Suzuki factory tachometer in for repair at Nippon Keiki Service\u2026
\nHoping it works out.
\nFrom there, I headed to Naps to pick up an ETC unit with a coupon I got the other day.
\nThe Setagaya store was closed\u2014ugh, seriously?
\nWell, that’s no good. I had no choice but to go to Kohoku instead.
\nThey said it would be a 90-minute wait. With time to kill, I decided to grab a bite somewhere.
\nSince I came on the GS, I don’t want to go anywhere I can’t see it. And wouldn’t you know it\u2014McDonald’s!
\nThey didn’t have the Mega whatever, so I ordered a Big Mac set and a chocolate pie.
\nNothing special about it\u2014meager fare, I thought, gazing out at the road while I ate.
\nHmm, I thought, staring at the Big Mac for a moment\u2026
\nSure, you can’t taste the meat, and you can’t tell what you’re eating, but I realized it’s actually well thought out.
\nIf it’s junk food, then commit to being junk food\u2014without using fancy ingredients, to be able to make this many with such precision is pretty impressive.
\nThe size of the meat relative to the top and bottom buns, the size of the cheese and vegetables\u2014it’s all been researched to get it just right.
\nThat’s what I figured, getting all worked up about it on my own.
\nBut the coffee was shockingly bad.
\nNaps called, and it only took five minutes to show them the vehicle\u2026 I still don’t understand why I have to wait over an hour every time for just this.
\nIt’s a mystery.
\nA younger mechanic gave me a long explanation and we were done.
\nPut it in some weird Yoshimura container and\u2026 that’s \u00a54,725.
\nThis cheap container? I wouldn’t take it even for free.
\nAnd I got the coupon, but apparently I need proof of transfer on the back, so I have to go back again\u2026
\nI’ll take it to Naps on the Forza by the deadline of 3\/15\u2026
\nThey were saying something about drilling holes if I use the GS, and I definitely don’t want that.
