Thanks for your hard work over the long holiday!
\nBecause of that, this week is shaping up to be short, which is pretty annoying!
\nAnyway, last night I made time starting in the evening and was steadily working on inspection prep.
\nInstalling the brake switch. Changing the fluid and fixing all the little wiring.
\nInstalling the meter\u2026
\nGot hungry, so we planned to grab fried chicken ramen at “Ramen-tei”
\nMe, MJ, and Shoppena were about to head out when Ichizo showed up in a car \u2605
\nGreat, now we could go eat by car! We all piled in and headed to Toritsu-daigaku\u2026
\nWe got there pretty quick, but against expectations it was closed\u2026 unbelievable!
\nShoppena suggested we try the “meat ankake fried rice” he recommends, so we headed to Ryozanpaku \u2605
\nOut in Sekimachi-minami, Nerima Ward.
\nWe were running down a side road past the old Toritsu-daigaku site, and the moment we passed Komazawa-dori, MJ goes “Whoa\u2014hey, something’s happening!”
\nWhat? What is it?
\nApparently only the person in the right seat could see it\u2026
\n“Oh man, an accident\u2026 something was lying on its side!”
\nWhat?! I told Ichizo to turn around, and it took 15 minutes to get back to the scene and into the detour lane with the road closed.
\nWe lined up and gawked.
\nAt first we thought it was a motorcycle accident, but it wasn’t. An old lady had been hit and wasn’t moving\u2014yeah, that was rough.
\nThe police were casually directing traffic and taking scene photos\u2026
\nIs this what the world is like?
\nAnyway, we finally made it to Ryozanpaku. Sketchy-looking place.
\nI looked at the menu and then up front, and there’s this blonde woman taking orders \u2605
\nShe’s got quite the intimidating glare \u2605
\nWe ordered “meat ankake fried rice \u00d7 4, dumplings \u00d7 3, century egg \u00d7 1” and the blonde was
\nrepeating the order back when I said “Hey, ashtray” and she stopped repeating
\nand went “clang” as she slammed down the ashtray and walked away\u2026
\nWhat kind of place is this?
\nMJ was glaring back saying “I’m not backing down~” Huh?
\nResult\u2026 the food was delicious, so \u25ce
\nLet’s go back by car again!
