class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The key points for rear brake hose setup are: <br>\u2022 Make the brake caliper easy to maintain, <br>\u2022 Account for how far the rear wheel moves when adjusting the chain, <br>and I think those are crucial. <br><br>Beyond that, keeping the layout as simple as possible reduces the chance of contact or damage. <br>This time I made it using two 45-degree banjo fittings. <br>The bending is <strong>&#8220;handled by the banjo\/fitting,&#8221; <\/strong>so <br>you shouldn&#8217;t bend the mesh hose all wavy just because it&#8217;s mesh. made a stainless steel mount to secure the TEE fitting. <br><br>So what are the key points for front brake setup? <br>\u2022 The front fork extends and compresses, so you set it based on maximum fork extension. <br>\u2022 Route the hose so it doesn&#8217;t catch when the fork moves. <br>\u2022 Make sure it doesn&#8217;t contact anything when the handlebars turn fully left and right. <br>\u2022 Consider the maintenance accessibility of the front caliper. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column\">\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Brake hose selection is something you really need to get right\u2014it&#8217;s a safety issue. <br>With the front, especially, you have to be careful because the fork extends and compresses, and the handlebars turn left and right. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Keeping the brake hose length without unnecessary slack <\/strong>makes for a
