I got home around 1 a.m. last night, washed the cat, didn’t like where the TV was positioned so I moved it, didn’t like the cables in the back so
\nI tied them up with cable ties\u2026 and it’s already past 3 a.m.! Tomorrow I have a dentist appointment at 11, so I’m sleeping in.
\nThat works.
\nSo when I wake up\u2026 it’s 10:59 a.m.\u2026 I hurry and call the dentist to say, “I can’t make it, please reschedule.”
\nAppointment rescheduled.
\nOh man, the vehicle inspection\u2026 today? I look outside and it’s rainy\u2014no way that’s happening!
\nBut I end up sleeping a bit longer anyway\u2014this is the worst.
\nBy the time I leave the house it’s stopped raining and Route 7 is dry.
\nNot that it matters, but is it crowded? Route 7\u2026
\nIt’s the end of the month on a Friday, so I was too optimistic\u2026 really\u2026 I mutter complaints as I head out.
\nTurns out it was only crowded because of street tree maintenance.
