Let me post yesterday’s work!
\nThe bike is a GSF750 with 30,000 kilometers on the clock, mainly used for touring and such \u2605
\nStem bearings that are probably being disassembled for the first time\u2026
\nThe grease is dried out and the races show impact marks and rust\u2026
\nThe bearings are shared with the 1200, so I’m switching to retainer ball bearings.
\nThis should give it a much more agile handling feel.
\nI’m also changing the fork oil \u2605 Of course the oil is “ASH” 100% synthetic \u2605
\nWhat’s the difference? Well, it hasn’t even been a year since I started using it, so I can’t really say\u2014
\nIt seems less prone to temperature changes \u2605
\nWhether it’s right after starting or after riding for a while when it heats up, the oil doesn’t seem to thin out as much?
\nHard to say for sure, but so far it’s a solid oil \u2605
