Today I casually headed over to Yokohama on a Sunday evening \u2605
\nIKEA was just a side trip, though!
\nSo that building turned into IKEA, huh . . .
\nAnd it’s seriously huge and packed with people . . . it’s annoying.
\nNothing like Hands! It’s got the crowding of Center-gai packed into a building \u2605
\nAnd the space is so massive you get lost . . .
\nThey even announced over the speakers, “We’re experiencing a high number of lost children~”!
\nAdults get lost too!
\nThe prices are great\u2014and what’s good about it is “it doesn’t look cheap”
\nThe quality isn’t amazing, but for the price it’s clearly well-presented \u2605
\nThis place really opens your wallet and empties it!
\nI wanted lots of things, but impulse buying isn’t good, so I just grabbed a “5-lid pot lid rack”
\nYou hang this rack on the wall and it holds 5 lids! Super convenient! Around 700 yen
\nAfter checking out the first and second floors, an hour had passed . . .
\nIt really is huge \u266a
\nThe human drama is exhausting . . . it’s such a mixed bag.
\nFamilies with infants, families with kids, families with pets, foreigners (all kinds), couples
\njust flooding in everywhere
\nand arguing all over the place . . .
\nSitting on beds saying “well, maybe like this~, or maybe like that~” and “don’t you want to see anything else?”
\n“Daddy, I’m tired!” or “this is cheap \u2605 it’s cheap” and people just buying everything
\nLet me be straight: don’t go to IKEA on weekends or holidays!
