\nWe’re making progress on the oil-cooled Katana that was brought in the other day.
\nAfter centering the front wheel, the caliper shifts too, so we’re fabricating a spacer.
\nNext, to install the FCR, we need to match the throttle cable length. There are many adjustment points, but it’s best to avoid using them.
\nIf we extend the cable housing, it doesn’t look good aesthetically.
\nIt’s better to buy a cable with as few adjustment points as possible, cut the inner wire, and use it.

\nIntake manifold replacement. The bolts were seized, so we tap them with a center punch to loosen them.
\nAfter all, M6 bolts come loose easily with a center punch.
\nA problem shows up. We remove the manifold and check the valve condition\u2014”Hmm, so-so?”
\nBut then number 1 valve is heavily rusted \u2606
\n“Oh no!” We’re in trouble… What’s going on! This is a problem! We need to consult with the owner.

\nIt looks like we’ll need to open up at least the head… Oh well.
