Clear skies today\u2014I’m thrilled about the sunshine \u266a
\nSo today was super easy\u2014just light work. I went to the bank, dropped off some anodizing, fixed the scooter,
\nmade invoices, and I was done.
\nI had a free First Kitchen coupon from MJ, so I rode my bike to Jiyugaoka \u266a
\nThe ride there was downhill, super easy \u266a Now let’s eat!
\nThey asked how I wanted my fries seasoned, and when I looked at the options, it was all junk flavors…
\nWell, I played it safe… ate on the promenade and then went shopping at Body Shop.
\nI needed to buy moisturizer, but again I fell for the fragrance instead! Oops!
\nI got back around 3:30! Just as I was about to head out, the boss showed up\u2014arriving right before I leave is so annoying.
\nWhat are you doing? I’m closing up! I’m closing up! I’m heading out\u2014I’m closing up!
\nI ended up going along as the driver. First, we’re heading to Yutenjis to visit the grave! Let’s go!
\nCleaned it up and done \u266a Then off to Hands!
\nBought a minus screwdriver (for synchronization) (for jet replacement). They keep disappearing somewhere\u2014
\nWell, can’t be helped.
\nThen brushes! The carbon cowl cracked and needs repair… cloth and solvent are pretty pricey.
\nNext, we went to Montbell to look for a digital camera case, but they didn’t have one. Still, the store has five floors,
\nso I found a few things \u266a
\nThen I got new sneakers since the old ones were falling apart. Black is best so dirt doesn’t show, and these are nice and breathable too!
\nI was thinking of heading to Tower Records,
\nbut wait\u2014the Japanese music section on the second floor is closed… What’s that about??
\nSo I went to HMV instead and got “OTTO” and “Tsubakiya Quartet,” and tried to pay with a music gift card,
\nbut they said “We can’t accept that!” What?? What’s going on?
\nHMV won’t take it? I didn’t say anything to the part-timer about spouting nonsense, but I finished paying anyway.
\nApparently they’re not affiliated with that card.
\nNext, I grabbed an early dinner at Hige-naga and headed back to the shop \u266a
\nLast night, my home computer finally died…
\nUgh\u2014I bought it used and it lasted about seven years. Windows 98.
\nThat clicking hard drive was definitely showing its limits…
\nSo after thinking about it last night, I decided: move the shop computer home and buy a new one for the shop!
\nNice \u266a But they’re cheap now\u2014you can get one for about 60,000 yen!
