We went for inspection\u2014a total of two trips, morning and afternoon!
\nMorning: R1100
\nAfternoon: Bandit 1200
\nSo here’s the thing\u2014the R1100 had some weird bulb installed and it was really dim…
\nAbnormally dim! Since we’ve seen examples from the boss, we installed a PMC headlight booster for the inspection
\nand headed to the tester shop!
\n“This is way too dim!” they said. Yeah, it really was dim and totally unacceptable, so we borrowed a modified bulb and went for it \u266a
\nThey’re a fantastic tester shop that specializes in professional work!
\nAfter confirming the tax payment, we installed the “super quiet baffle” \u2606
\nOff to the line! “Okay, lights”\u2014okay, okay, okay\u2014”Your turn signal area is a bit short.”
\nNo, no, we have it\u2014we measured it.
\n“No, it’s not enough… Can you do math?” (me)
\n“It’s plenty!” No, no, no\u2014they just wouldn’t nod vertically…
\n“Okay, okay, I got it\u2014we’ll fix it.”
\nSound level measurement\u2014this one’s at “6000 rpm”!
\n“That’s definitely wrong! Are you okay in the head?” Well, it’s no problem for us anyway!
\n95 dB hehehehe\u2014and here’s where it gets tricky \u2606
\nWe went to the tester shop but didn’t pass! (Well, it happens) So back to the tester shop we went
\nFailed again! We checked what was wrong and headed back to the tester shop!
\nFinally done\u2014phew, what a relief!
\nThen in the afternoon, when we came back, there was this weird checkpoint thing at the entrance…
\n“It’s a roadside inspection,” they said. Man, traffic safety week is seriously intense!
\nI left early and got some good sleep =
\nThis week is busy, so I’m gonna get back to work now!
